IC Design ProcessEach client is unique, so the scope of work can vary. However, we typically work with the client on the following four phases of the project: 1. Evaluate current market position and store site. Meet with management
and discuss functional needs regarding traffic flow, business realities
and general topics not currently being addressed. Interpret and discuss
the pitfalls, opportunities, and tradeoffs created by evolving the design
to meet the client's objectives. Determine budgets and attainable goals. 2. Present a preliminary plan in an open forum with management. Review tradeoffs and brainstorm solutions that maximize the return on investment. Review budgets and goals. 3. Present revised plan that incorporates ideas from roundtable for final
management approval. Meet with contractors on first round of bids. Review
bids with management and project manager. 4. Create merchandising plan that reinforces your chosen image and goals.
* Construction Drawings that may be required for permits are a separate
phase. However we do provide the floor plan, lighting plan, ceiling plan,
and merchandising plan on AutoCAD, and if needed we would supply them
to a local architect for review, approval, and stamping. |
