Lakeville, June 3, 2003: IC Lights' Light Spots fixtures are designed for easy use in new construction, remodeling, or simple make-overs and will be featured at Image Crafters booth #308 at CEDIA Expo 2003. Light Spots have been designed to be sold and installed by Specialty AV Custom Retailers. The dynamite new retrofit package improves the look and function of old 6" recessed fixtures, allowing for easy harnessing of existing light in rooms that have evolved into home theaters. Light Spots are the perfect feature to add customized character and warmth to any home theater experience.

The light spots series includes eight unique fixtures developed to maximize the lighting designer's options in creating the ideal lighting design. All fixtures come in six finishes, Penny, Nickel, Brass, White Black and Matte Nickel. Light Spots fixtures include: two with directional control, a recessed baffle, three different sizes of glass holders, a Universal Canopy (to allow any IC Lights or Unilights fixtures to be used, including pendants), and Aurora, a specialty fixture used to accent, or as a design element.

The new retrofit kit offers an easy non-construction avenue to enhance the look and function of the large old style 6" recessed fixtures common in most homes today. The simple screw in and plug package works with both 5" and 6" cans, transforming them with scores of possibilities into contemporary 3" and 4" fixtures and pendants. The retrofit kit comes complete with a low voltage transformer, a mounting bracket (it easily mounts into most 5" and 6" recessed housings), and reducing trim rings that match.
