Our Star Scene fiber optic systems offer a hybrid system combining the convenience of a kit with the versatility of a custom installation. The two basic components of a system are fiber in several diameters and a light source with twinkle wheel to provide random "star shimmering" effects. Because the emitting points are small and very bright, and many points of light can be created by using one lamp to illuminate a common bundle. More sophisticated effects are achieved by organizing (mapping) the fiber and installing multiple light sources and controllers. See Technical Information for more details.
